Send a letter in a bottle 21st century style, via a USB cork

Ever written a letter, placed it in a bottle and sent it off to sea? Well, there’s a new way to get that letter (or photo or even video) sent to a random stranger on the other side of the planet – with a USB cork in a mini glass bottle.

This cork USB in a bottle was created by product designer Saburo Sakata as part of a clever stationery series. The USB has 2GB of memory on it so you’ll be able to fit plenty of photos – perhaps even a love letter or two.

But don’t think this USB in a bottle will be cheap. Innovation costs money, people, and this innovative product is being sold for around $US55.
