The popcorn monsoon will pop those kernels Willy Wonka-style

If you had a choice between making popcorn in the microwave or popping it in the Popcorn Monsoon, you’d be crazy if you picked the microwave. Joele Carlier created this fun and quirky design for popping kernels, after taking inspiration from Willy Wonka’s quote ‘Come with me, and you’ll be in a world of pure imagination’.

All you have to do to entertain the kids (and yourself) is place the corn kernels in the base on the left side. As the kernels pop and form popcorn, they slide out of the transparent chute into a waiting bowl.

Carlier has a wealth of ideas up her sleeve for other popcorn maker designs, too. Please get this to department stores ASAP; I’ve got to have one!
