Apparently shampooed hair is a new art form

The next time you’re in the shower think of yourself as an artist, with your lathered head of hair as the canvas. That’s what art director Cheuk Lun Lo did for a beauty editorial called ‘Shampoo’, wherein shampooed heads are depicted as works of art.

Published in Numero Magazine, China, the series shows mysterious orbs soaked in foam, floating in front of a pitch-black background. They take on forms that are both familiar and alien. It is only upon closer inspection that you’ll realize the orbs are actually shampooed hair, sans the faces attached to them.

Strange, yet awesome! Who knew a change in perspective could make an art form out of something so ordinary?
