When they said, ‘history repeats itself’, we didn’t think they meant selfies. In this witty marketing campaign by Samsung and ad agency Leo Burnett Switzerland, the iconic self-portraits of famous artists are reimagined as selfies. The images show Vincent Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, and Albrecht Durer, all taking a selfie with Samsung’s NX mini camera, with the LCD screen revealing their own paintings as the photos.
Goes to show that everyone loves being a bit vain – even people from many, many years ago. Only difference is, they had no duck face back then!
