British cops take a break on the playground, get slammed by the public

Cops just can’t catch a break these days. While out on patrol in Tottenham, North London, Sergeant Pete Shaw and his patrol team took to a kids’ playground to do some quick horsing around. Mounting horses on springs, Shaw and three other cops had a bit of a laugh (and stress relief) in the quiet of the night. They even posted the picture of them to Sgt. Shaw’s Twitter account.

Because the public likes to see what police officers get up to on a slow night, right? Well, they do in Iceland. But it’s a bit of a different story in Britain. The cops’ moment of hilarity ended up in the photo being taken down from Twitter and an official apology being given for the ‘inappropriate’ tweet, after 600 people complained.
