Go minimalist these holidays with a nativity set of wooden blocks

London-based designer Emilie Voirin has put an end to the debate about what Jesus Christ and his family looked like. It’s an age-old debate that has one population stating he was blonde haired, blue eyed (yeah right), and another saying he was more olive skinned with darker features.

Well, thanks to a new Kickstarter, you can forget about those debates and arguments at the next family Christmas dinner because there’s a new nativity set being crowdfunded that’s about as minimalist as it gets.

Created from beech wood, these handcrafted figurines will put a modern touch on any mantelpiece and feature all the necessary players in the first nativity: Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, the three kings, and all the farm animals to surround them.
