The nativity scene in LEGO

Before you think this kind of lego masterpiece is irreverent or disparaging, just know that the work here is being given ‘pride of place’ at Bessels Green Baptist Church in Sevenoaks, Kent. And why shouldn’t it? These lego creations are fantastic, depicting the birth of Christ like never before. And with never-before-seen characters, too. Like Gandalf, and little lego men holding weapons, an angry-looking Joseph, and of course, what every nativity scene has — Star Wars droids.

Minister Neil Durling says, ‘We’re allowing and encouraging people to add their own quirky bits and bobs to them, to make it more fun.’
