17-storey waterslide being built in Kansas City

If you’re an adrenaline junkie who’s taking baby steps to that leap out of an airplane, perhaps you might want to visit Kansas City. The Verruckt (German for “insane”) is set to become the world’s tallest, fastest and steepest water slide at 17 stories high. Opening next year in May, the Verruckt will be located at the Kansas City water park, Schlitterbahn, and workers promise the ride will beat the current water slide record holders. Oh yeah, and daredevils will travel at speeds of around 65mph. Hmm, I dunno about you, but I get queasy just being in a building 17 stories up!
