We’ve all seen the typical public housing projects maintained by our government, but if you’re living in Vienna, there’s definitely no stigma attached to public housing. In fact 60% of the Viennese population lives in municipally built, owned or managed housing. So it’s no wonder there’s a new exhibition at NYC’s Austrian Cultural Forum titled The Vienna Model. This exhibition celebrates the public housing sector of Austria with a series of images that show just how innovative public housing can be. America, take note!
