Free tattoos inspired by visits to the Portland Art Museum

Jason Sturgill perfectly encapsulates what is RIGHT about the Portland art scene right now: excessively accessible, exclusively inclusive. Sturgill has a background in advertising, design and various curatorial practices. He is the type of person that makes shit happen. His project Art Is Forever is something that should exist in every art museum in the world.

Art is Forever is a project that attempts to foster a more meaningful connection between the art museum and its visitors. Several Portland artists have been selected and given the opportunity to create illustrations inspired by their visits to the Portland Art Museum. These illustrations will be made available as free tattoos on a first come, first served basis throughout the entire day.

In partnership with our friends at Glenmorangie, Lost At E Minor presents the second episode in the We Are The World We Create podcast series, dedicated to celebrating those people, and their exceptional creations, that help make the world a more interesting place. In this episode, Bigsy speaks to Masterchef contestant, Reynold Poernomo, and street artist Brad “Beastman” Eastman, and delves into why dessert is everyone’s favourite course and how being a street artist can change how you perceive the world.
