Hyper-real illustrations by Quebec-based Amanda Mocci

Amanda Mocci is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator from Montreal. Her work is influenced by the minimalism of black and white as well as the chaotic beauty and mystery of the universe. The first thing you notice when viewing one of Mocci’s pieces is the photo-realistic nature of her work and the insane amount of detail that is put into it. The thing that really sets this of,f however, is the contrast between the photo-realistic and the more surreal and colourful elements of her work. The marriage of the two makes for something very special.

In partnership with our friends at Glenmorangie, Lost At E Minor presents the second episode in the We Are The World We Create podcast series, dedicated to celebrating those people, and their exceptional creations, that help make the world a more interesting place. In this episode, Bigsy speaks to Masterchef contestant, Reynold Poernomo, and street artist Brad “Beastman” Eastman, and delves into why dessert is everyone’s favourite course and how being a street artist can change how you perceive the world.
