Annie Clark (aka St. Vincent) is an amazing one-two punch of multi-instrumentalist and singer. Her concerts, filled with distortion sounds, charming riffs, keyboards, broken rhythms and airy vocals, generally close with the song Your Lips Are Red during which she falls into the arms of the audience while holding her guitar. I was lucky enough to experience one of her recent gigs in Istanbul and it was an extremely cool ending, considering the rest of the setlist and the ambient atmosphere she had created.
