There is something wondrous about US-based artist-illustrator AJ Frena’s works using nothing but water color, gouache and just a teeny weeny bit of digital tuning. I especially like this one of wolf heads devouring each other with sharp teeths and open jaws, Homo Homini Lupus (a Latin phrase, ‘Man is a wolf to man’, meaning that men pray on men). It’s messy, menacing and bloody awesome.
