This series began as an exploration into what I could express within the limitations of the printmaking process. I found that I was making a series without intending to: observing people together but detached, trying to catch a moment that I could relate to. Yet everyone interprets images differently, so regardless of what I see in it, hopefully you’ll find something different.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
