Ryan Pequin’s Three Word Phrase web comics are completely absurd, often non-sensical, and completely juvenile like doodles passed around in a high school biology class, which is what makes them hilarious.

 

Andy Rementer’s gonzo cartoon style seems to wink at those of us who have gotten the cosmic punchline and are just grinning at our fellow humans as they start to wake up as well. Read more

Alan Sailer is a photographer who bides his time photographing the destruction of everyday objects. It’s a simple idea brilliantly executed. On his Flickr account he has thousands of photos to sift through. Read more

Greek firm A31 just completed this sturdy-looking art warehouse for Alexandros Liapis in Dilesi, Boeotia. From some angles, the concrete structure looks like a fallout-proof bunker, but from the front it looks like an open and airy barn, the exterior looking very much like wood. Read more

I really, really love this blog. Renee Ruin covers art, fashion, trends, with an emphasis on tattoo, fetish and grunge culture and she digs up the most amazing stuff. Ruin seems to like the same artists I do, including the seriously talented Brian M. Viveros.

I saw a real wizard. His name is Twig Harper. He shoots crazy waveforms from his fingers, aided by magic-infused electronics. I am now a frog. If you see him, tell him I no longer wish to be a frog.

Disorder Disorder in Sydney

Now this is fun. This 3D watch dial actually jumps to life. The dial is a modern version of the 19th century art form of lithophanes: carved porcelain sheets that, when lit, deliver astoundingly detailed images. When the pusher is activated, the dial springs to life in 3D, with an LED light and afterglow effect. Read more
