Travel just 29 kilometres south of Luang Prabang in north central Laos, and you’ll come to the most amazing landmark to explore: Kuang Si Falls. Here you’ll find a three tier waterfall that begins in shallow pools of a steep hillside. The water gushes down the hill in a 60-metre cascade and tourists can actually swim in the waters below. Now, you might be thinking that Kuang Si is just another waterfall, but the water is unlike any other hue you’ve seen before because these waters are crystal clear and turquoise.
