There is something for me that feels very settling about putting on a Stevie Nicks’ record. Day to day, from one experience to another, each of us needs those few things that ground us, and remind ourselves of where we’ve been and where we dream of going. As I write this, I’m playing a track from Stevie’s newest album In Your Dreams, entitled Soldier’s Angel.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
