Written and directed by Australian Christopher Kezelos, and produced by Christine Kezelos, Zero is a stop-motion animation that cleverly takes a look at society’s minority groups through numbers.”We’re all born of the same matter, however we’re not all born equal’. Zero is born into a world where the higher your number, the more respected you are. 9′s are the most important, while 0′s are at the bottom of the social ladder. Zero struggles with loneliness and the feeling that he will never fit in until he meets another Zero – a forbidden love – as the domination of Zero is prohibited from multiplying. It’s a bit of social commentary, it’s a bit of fun and it’s a lot of animation.
