I came across Lauren Hillebrandt on Tumblr. She makes ordinary objects into a thing of wonder, mostly with the sexual implications and situations she puts them in. While many of the photos are sexual, the bright colors are also beautiful and draw the eye in. Very daring and funny photos.

Giant vegetable peeler and sharpener: all in one

Israeli-based designer Avichai Tadmor came up with a nifty way to peel oblong vegetables such as carrots, zucchinis, and cucumbers. The peeler is basically a giant pencil sharpener, so you can peel your vegetables down with just a few simple twists, leaving behind little veggie shavings. His design is so obvious that it’s kind of genius.
