New York illustrator Frank Stockton is one of those artists who, when you stumble across his work, you can’t help but stop and marvel (and on occasion, tear the page right and tack it on the wall). Stockton’s incredible draughtsmanship, coupled with a powerful knack for innovative, graphic storytelling, has resulted in an impressive body of work. Having already been published in magazines such as Esquire, The New Yorker, GQ and Penthouse, just to name a few, Stockton is already making a big name for himself within the industry. Cloud Control have just unravelled a newly recorded track, Gold Canary, from their forthcoming 2010 album. It’s straight up pastoral Blue Mountains goodness. I actually heard it live earlier this year and it sounded quite rad.

In a world filled with conceptual environmental architect, Lost in Paris, designed by R&Sie Architects for a so-called ‘urban witch’, is the definition of innovation and resourcefulness. The 1400 square foot home is engulfed by 1200 ferns and 300 glass-blown pods. A potion of rainwater and plant nutrients are fed to the pods, which in turn feed the ferns, drop by drop, during the year. And because the home is entirely covered with the plants, it is protected from outside weather and the interior temperature is regulated without use of traditional methods.
How old must Kermit be now? Not to old to collaborate with skater-friendly retailer Supreme and photographer Terry Richardson. Kermit, who usually wears nothing, has been hooked up with some new threads to advertise the brand. It seems Kermit and Terry are the perfect work partners: they’ve even released a video clip documenting the shoot.
