Brooklyn-born artist RAE enjoys leaving Urban Folk Art gifts in and around the streets of New York for the everyday person to gaze at. His murals, found-object sculptures, and single-line ink drawings usually reside on city streets off the beaten path. But don’t hesitate to look right under your nose, because when no-one’s looking, you’ll be surprised what he can get away with.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
