An ongoing personal project encompassing my love of type, illustration and my favorite movies. These four complete sets of illustrative typefaces are the first of a series based on, and inspired by, the movies Ghostbusters, Gremlins, Shaun of the Dead, and Jurassic Park. Simon at Sinage Design states ‘I wanted to pick apart the films and include common memorable elements from each movie to create the full A-Z library’.

The Hamilton Wood Type Museum

Tucked away in the small Wisconsin city of Two Rivers is the only museum dedicated to the preservation, study, and printing of wood type. With 1.5 million pieces, the Hamilton Wood Type Museum’s collection is one of the premier wood type collections in the world. Finally getting much deserved attention, the museum was the subject of the documentary, Typeface, and Target also recently utilized the collection for their Vintage Varsity line.
