It started with silk-screen prints, moved into 3D collaborations with my peers, and has culminated in my first book project: The 3D Art Book. Prestel Publishing has generously brought me aboard to make this project a reality and it’s really a dream come true.

I gathered 100 of my favorite artists for the project, then myself and my team at Thunderdog converted all of the art into 3D. This process alone took a year. But, alas, the hard work is over and it’s time to celebrate. Tonight is the very first 3D exhibition and book signing for us and we are gearing up to make it a night to remember. Please join us!

From 1985 to 1993, I lived in West London and have always missed British candy and special foods. Low and behold, Myers of Keswick has it all. Weetabix cereal, Quality Street candy, Scotch Eggs, PG Tips tea! It’s absolutely amazing. But it’s not all just imports, they make fresh food everyday that you wouldn’t find anywhere else.

Eaton hand picked elements from graffiti, skateboarding, comic books, and hip-hop as the building blocks for his illustration career, which eventually got him noticed in 1996 by the then-fledgling Kidrobot to help steer the company’s vision and image, designing the Kidrobot logo, character, and signature Dunny toy. In 2003, Eaton struck out on his own with the Brooklyn-based Thunderdog Studios, a multimedia enterprise that encompasses toys, design, and consulting. Check out his posts on the site over the next couple of weeks.
