The smallest museum in New York is situated in an abandoned 60-square-foot freight elevator

This very small museum is nestled within TriBeCa in New York. It’s actually built into an abandoned 60-square-foot freight elevator, out of sight to even most of Tribeca’s residents and to those in the know, accessible only via a dark alleyway. Simply called The Museum, it was officially opened in May 2012.
