Catalan artist and product designer Gerard Moline has come up with the eco body disposal solution for us with his production of Bios Urn, a biodegradable urn made from coconut shell, compacted peat and cellulose.

Watching FlippyCat’s domino videos on YouTube has been a guilty pleasure of mine. Guilty cos I get a sadistic high from seeing the carefully stacked dominoes topple most mercilessly within mere seconds! The latest offering uploaded this month is just as awesome as the rest. Called The Incredible Domino Tree Thing, there is a total of 145 bridges and approximately 5,000 dominoes involved.

Chop stick concession stand at Indianapolis Museum of Art

Swedish architecture firm Visiondivision have teamed up with the Indianapolis Museum of Art to build a concession stand in their art and nature park. The project, which utilizes harvested materials, aims to to fulfill the notion that something must be sacrificed to make something else. Centered around a 100 foot yellow poplar, the stand provides swings, sitting areas and a kiosk which sells yellow poplar syrup from the tree. Amazing!
