Every Sunday morning I wake up, walk down to Columbia Rd Flower Markets, get some flowers, and always pop into my favorite cupcake haven, Treacle, to pick up a few treats. But be sure not to say the other C word while you’re there (that’s ‘coffee’, for those who were wondering). They serve tea only here.
Incredibly talented six year old art prodigy Kieron Williamson paints stylistic watercolor landscapes. He captures light, shadows, and emotion years beyond his age. In fact, the only clue to how young he really is is his ‘wobbly signature’ on the paintings. Read more
We love this idea. When was the last time you sent a letter? Ivan Cash wants to do something about it. He’s kicked off a project to revive the art of actually handwriting letters. He’ll take any email you send him, handwrite it into a letter, then actually mail it to anywhere in the world. All for free. This art project only lasts a month, so get cracking. Read more
The philosophy of a beginning is to me, a wonderful concept. I really enjoy flicking through the back catalogues of a musician and discovering their origin, then tracing their musical journey to the present. So for American-born, Paris-based sister duo CocoRosie, who released their third album The Adventure of Ghosthouse and Stillborn to much acclaim, making the trip to their beginnings is more than worth the journey: their debut album, Le Maison de Mon Reve (released back in 2004) was a gentle stroll through their pop and classical influences, which melt together seamlessly into a backdrop for their unique and enchanting voices.
MP5 + TO/LET are a collective of three girls from Rome and from Bologna who have been working on installations and graffiti since 2006. This graffiti was created in Medika, a new squat in Zagreb, Croatia. They were invited there for the Vox Feminae Festival, and this was painted in four days in the main entrance. Read more

The Illuminated Sea Cookie Pin by Stephanie Simek mixes underwater wonders and light to add a little sparkle to your wardrobe.
