Melbourne designer Lilian Darmono and her co-director partner Mungo Horey were asked by Red Bee to come up with some ideas for the new children’s channel, ABC 3 Australia. Their idea for it ‘was centered around a magical world, in the shape of a giant 3, where all kinds of amazing things take place and unfold’. [See more Australian art and design at The Colour]

Israeli artist Ben Rotman creates digital works that appear with the same fluidity and tactility as an oil color painting. He uses his ‘intimacy with digital tools to emulate the deckled edges, bleeding, and the layering sensations’ of the more traditional medium. Read more
