It’s a well-known fact that Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is one of America’s most anticipated events of the year, and there’s no better way to watch the parade than from above. Brooklyn-based photographer Navid Baraty took photographs of the recently concluded parade from 30 stories above 6th Avenue. This is definitely a cool way to get a different perspective of the parade.

Vegetarians celebrating Thanksgiving have one more meal option with the Veggieducken, an Inception-style dish that takes its cue from turducken, a Thanksgiving traditional dish with a chicken stuffed into a duck stuffed into a turkey, plus stuffing in between. Developed by cooking host and blogger Dan Pashman, it basically involves stuffing sweet potatoes into leeks, then stuffing all of that into a banana squash. Looks complicated but awesome.
