Here’s something we’re super excited about. LA-based apparel brand SuperVague just released their latest t-shirt design, which just so happens to be a collaboration with Lost At E Minor. Yup. Artist Kyle Anthony Miller designed this awesome t-shirt as an homage to Lost At E Minor’s “mission of bringing unbelievable, compelling content to light”. Check […]
Perhaps you recall Anarchy in the UK by the Sex Pistols from back in the 70s. The song placed 56 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. So there’s that. And here’s what’s happened all these 40 years later with the rise of the Tumblr generation. I found this hilarious illustration. […]
We’re always keen to show cool Australian designs – especially when they’re on nice, quality t-shirts for both guys and girls. Wolf Peach Clothing, started by Christabel, a tattoo artist in Sydney, puts her awesome, twisted monster drawings onto shirts.
What happens when you ask a fashion designer to create anything he wants for a mainstream brand? This guy is clearly not afraid of any legal actions. His designs take hints from pop culture and porn, bouncing from cool to disturbing – and sometimes just sexy.
This week was an interesting one. After being invited to design an illustrated t shirt for Made in The Now, I was over the moon. Made in The Now is a Brisbane company who release prints based on a top news headline pick of the week. I worked up a concept inspired by the recent […]
This Williamsburg t shirt company, founded by fine artists Justin Horowitz and Joe Bklyn, is still in its larval state. But if it pans out anything like their other work, it should make for some amazing products. They also just happened to do the covers for two of our projects. Their work is always on point.
PRAF by Laura Vargalui (PRAF is the Romanian word for DUST) is a t-shirt label for all the wallflowers, sideliners and heart-wasted people. The tees are made of flanelette. The same fabric was used in our childhood when we were babies, so the concept is related to those very pure moments.
The N-spired Story launches Chapter 5: Follow the Herd. Governments around the world have passed some absurd laws, such as banning small breasts in porn in Australia, reincarnation in China, Emo music in Russia, and time travel on Chinese television. Design by Australian artist Fintan Magee.
A mobile phone and a t-shirt. That is all you need to read The N-spired Story: the first ever interactive book written by the world. Through the website, anyone can share a story, an idea, a personal experience, or anything else worth telling.
I had a dream once that I was in one of Thomas Kinkade’s cottage settings, only instead of being pastel and pleasant, it was full of flames and people running for their lives screaming. Years later, I’m still not sure what that was all about; except that I’m afraid of country settings and that my fear of not being able to prevent a forest fire might come true!
Ivory Skies is a small t shirt label fresh out of London offering a point of difference in the very over crowded printed tee market. All their shirts are based on rare ancient artwork printed on nicely fitting white tees. Co-founder and designer, Carlo Salanitri, describes the label as ‘a rare style representation of the mystical past blended with today’s indie street fashion’. Ivory Skies has made big inroads since its creation with agents across Europe and a lot of interest from Australia and America.
I received a Kobe Beefcake t-shirt today and I’m already in meat-lover’s heaven. Who’d have thought all those funky shapes are actually cuts of meat? This new label from Kobe Japan is an insider’s (and meat-lover’s) treasure.
Ok, so that’s me up there on the right. Yup, rocking out in the 55DSL tee and feeling a little pleased with how it’s all going down. Well, actually, a disclaimer: it’s not … quite … me. I mean, I’m wearing the same shirt right now as he is, and I’m kinda the same height. But he isn’t the same person. We aren’t one. But I love this 55DSL shirt in the same way that he … ummm … loves himself. So I guess that we’re both damn happy.
