The paintings of my wife and collaborator Erica Ryan Stallones are always a source of inspiration, as their unassuming subject matter recedes to reveal subtle moments of disjointedness, breaks from perspective, linear motion, and narrative.

Moments of purpose isolated from decidedly un-curated spaces where the moment of recognition is followed by the subtle creep of unknown and uncomfortable transmission. People frozen (frequently against their will and without their knowledge) in totemic modes, blessings and curses in equal measure.
