If you’re a driver or passenger, it’s getting that way that probably one in ten cars you pass have a ‘my family tribe’ (or whatever they’re called) sticker plastered on the driver’s rear windscreen. Seeing them daily now, I’m beginning to wonder why is it that these are becoming so popular and a social phenomena. A lot of opinions are out there on whether they’re liked or disliked, but opinion’s are one thing. I prefer to show some action. Hence, I decided to design my own range of Dysfunctional Families stickers. Read more

Yes, stickers! Stickers of any kind! As a small boy, I was never happy with how school books, journals, or sketch pads looked. I always found it so difficult and frustrating to find anything that represented me. So my answer was to completely cover everything in stickers. To this day, everything around that isn’t tied down is plastered with stickers of every size and color. I like the sticker’s ability to let me express myself in my own way and I find that they have opened doors to conversations with that hottie next to me.

I saw these W faces stuck onto the movie poster of W on the Upper West Side of New York. They’re so cool looking, I just had to take a photo.

Excuse us Mr Shepard Fairey, but my friend, illustrator and designer Felix Sockwell, just came up with this fake Obey-style OBEYMA sticker, which I think is pure genius. It’s already on my refrigerator. You can see more of Felix’s work at his website.
Self taught Sydney-based artist Chrysler De Castro Esma takes a hands on approach the rendering of his artwork and makes use of soft pastels and coloured pencils, taking inspiration from the bustling urban environment that surrounds him. Read more

Itdrewitself had the honor of visiting with the legendary Ron English — an occasional Lost At E Minor contributor — at his home in Poughkeepsie, New York, last month, and had an amazing time rummaging through his studio, photographing endless amounts of paintings and sculptures. Man, I remember shaking my tail to Come on Eileen many moons ago — when rat-tails were a right of passage and Molly Ringwald held both the lock and the key to my tiny pitter pattering heart. Back then it was all ice-skating and fairy floss; skateboards and trading cards. It was bags of chips by the rusty school fence and sunburnt faces on crackling summer days. Read more

The return of the Brionvega rr226
Italian brand Brionvega has resurrected the classy Radiofonografio piece first created in 1965. The updated version is just like the original turntable/radio unit, but also has a CD/DVD player.
