These Horace Warner photos are of local ‘nippers’ (English slang for kids) living around Spitalfields in East London in 1912. The Good Ol’ Days meant kids were deliriously happy playing with a stick and a cabbage. Of course, those days are long gone. But then again, so is rickets and working up chimneys.
