Smak på Restaurangen is an ultra hip Stockholm restaurant where flavor reins king. At the heart of this stylish Scandinavian space is a modern culinary concept where gastronomic exploration is encouraged, if not mandated. Based on specific flavors alone, diners select tastings of 3, 5, or 7 small dishes. Fancy wasabi or truffle, tamarind or mint? At Smak på Restaurangen any or all can form the foundation of your meal. Drinks too follow the same concept with offerings revolving around sage, blood orange, and watermelon, for instance. The concept and atmosphere behind Smak på Restaurangen is what makes it one of the most talked about restaurants in Stockholm. Admittedly, the ever-changing list of well-known DJs guest spinning at the bar doesn’t hurt either.

The school, which was built in 1984 and caters for just under 200 students, is considered to be ‘a teaching branch for nearby resident units’. It looks stunning in its ornate beauty, and it must be one hell of a stimulating environment in which to learn. Read more

My roommate Adam and I have been playing Mark McGuire’s album, Pocket Full of Rain, all summer and some other tapes our other roommate has showed us that he did. I really like everything this guy has done. I sit and watch him play guitar on YouTube when I’m bored.
