As illustration goes, an inspirational genius has got to be Shohei Otomo from Tokyo, Japan. Genius is not a word I like to use in this day and age, but when work looks this good, created with only a paper-mate ballpoint pen, the term is justified.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
