Used clothing stores in Montreal may be a dime a dozen, but shops selling exclusively quality pieces are rare. La Found(erie) is an example, housing everything from no name to brand name merchandise chosen by its selective owner, Genevieve Champagne. Though located in the ‘oh so trendy’ plateau area on St-Laurent street, it’s far enough away from the pretentious but close enough to be easily accessible.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
