Sheffield-based illustrator John Holcroft uses his artistry to speak up about the state of the world we’re living in. Using vintage-style techniques, this popular artist takes on social media, big tobacco companies, utility services, and even pop culture icons to show us that we’ve grown accustomed to companies shoving things down our throats, like the need to be liked, the need to look a certain way, and the need to conform.

This is what The Onion think of Facebook’s decision to make satirical posts on the site more ‘obvious’ (spoiler alert: they win!)

The Onion strikes back. The brilliant satirical website have (apparently) confused Facebook users so much with their close to the bone ‘news’ posts that the social media giant have now decided to identify all satirical updates with a clear and obvious tag to try and help people who can’t understand what’s happening.
