It’s been reported that scientists in China have created genetically modified cows that produce “human” milk. To celebrate this wonderful achievement, artist Ron English has created this cheeky interpretation of the news.

Pop agit hero and occasional Lost At E Minor contributor Ron English played a typically clever, snide, brilliant April Fools joke down on the US-Mexico border last week, though, as our friends at Boing Boing note: ‘this piece of sociopolitical satire is going to backfire because the Tea Party will find out about it and demand that it be permanently installed at every border crossing’.

It’s hard to believe that South Park has been on television for fifteen years now, but it has. And to celebrate, artist (and Lost At E Minor contributor) Ron English has curated an art show on the beloved crude animated series.

The exhibit, which is being held at the Opera Gallery in New York, stars fifteen pop culture artists, such as Kathie Olivas, Lindsey Way, and Sas Christian, who have premiered their interpretations of the famous child TV characters. The exhibit runs until April 10, so make sure you head on over to Soho and check it out.

Lost At E Minor contributor Ron English has a new artwork available based around the Andy Warhol adage: ‘I’d like my own tombstone to be blank. No epitaph, and no name. Well, actually, I’d like it to say “figment”‘. In collaboration with metal experts Fully Visual, English has been happy to oblige. The statue is in Bronze and White Bronze, stands 7.5” tall, and ‘features an iconic Warholian wispy wigged skull atop a turtle-necked tombstone’.
