My work is inspired by, and reflects, modern built environments, including the people, lights, and music that comes with it.Colonies In Space is my latest series, which takes inspiration from the futurists of the early 1900s to construct architecture for an unknown cosmos. My working methods include a mixing pot of illustration, photography, model making and sculpture.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
