Virginia-based photographer Jon Phillip Sheridan shot a beautiful series called Residual. Of the work, he says: ‘Behind highway motels and apartment complexes, primordial forces seek to reclaim even the most developed areas at night. Entropy is at work and disorder strains to break through. This is the focus of all my work — my curiosity in exploring this shifting awareness of space and the human patterns that mark it’.
Throw Us A Bone is an innovative Sydney Dogs and Cats Home fundraising campaign from the M&CSaatchi/Mark agencies and represents the first time in Australia that people will be able to enjoy two-way interactivity with a live outdoor advertisement. Launching on October 1st on a massive 7m x 7m outdoor cinema screen in the Customs House forecourt at Circular Quay, the quirky and playful campaign has been designed and animated by Sixty40. The Duchesses recently sent us a copy of their latest EP, By Morning, released in April at the Excelsior Hotel in Sydney. The atmospheric four-track cuts through the usual noise and delivers a rhythmic mix of guitars, beats and vocals.
