Down in the depths of my hometown Plymouth there boasts a cultural tour de force that is Imperfect Cinema. Headed by ex-Raider Player, All Gall, and Media Head, Dan Flipside, they stand, flexing their voice in DIY punk cinema. Their manifesto is to bring cinema to the amateur, to allow the joys of small budget film-making and point-and-shoot tactics to be wrapped into a single worthy three minutes of material.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
