Every week there seems to be a new Star Wars gimmick, but this one is really cool. These posters are all celebrating the release of Star Wars VII, but re-imagined as other movies. People have gotten incredibly creative with their choices of films, with Star Wars being represented by the Kill Bill series, Memento, Annie Hall, Little Miss Sunshine, and even Sleepy Hollow.
I’m always searching for really good up-and-coming design studios for fresh inspiration. Tireman Studio is definitely a new design firm to watch. The studio was founded by Shogo Ota, who inherited the DNA of infamous Modern Dog Design Co. His unique artsy wild style is recognized mostly by his music poster designs, but if you […]
This was a very exciting project. I made a poster design/illustration for Steve Aoki’s concert at Sasquatch Music Festival. I came up with a Japanese influenced, almost modern twist of Ukiyo-e, wood block print based on his Japanese heritage, and I used an aggressive image to capture his music.
Behold the slow meandering havoc that he wreaks! Three cool new posters from Sharpshirter, document the tedious and nap-filled chaos that the Slothzilla creates. The perfect art for any walls needing a bit of snuggly mayhem. These, plus other Sharpshirter goodies, are now available in the Lost At E Minor store.

I can’t imagine the time and effort that went into creating this, but I love the […]
This illustration by Erin Gallagher is a tribute to the greatness of Vince Gilligan, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, and the many other brilliant people making some of the best, not to mention most addictive, television ever aired. This piece will be available soon as a screen printed poster.
The Keep Calm and Carry On poster is probably the most iconic graphic image of the past decade and this video explains where it came from. The poster was one of three issued by the British government during WWII as morale boosting reminders. And even though over two million copies were printed, the Keep Calm […]
I visited the Occupy Wall Street protesters yesterday at Liberty Plaza Park and drew every placard I could find on display. Here are the results: high resolution A2 posters for free use. Just download and print in black and white variants.
Lovely work by Leo Burnett Kuala Lampur copywriter Paul Prabhakar for an Eco Heaven Bazaar, where junk is hand-printed and re-purposed into posters to publicise the event.
Sydney-based design studio Philter hand crafted this beautiful poster from an epic stream of paper. They were given the letter F as part of an alphabetised series of posters and chose to represent the word Flammable with a tagline of ‘so hot right now’ (a nod to the movie Zoolander).
