Only the French can get away with the sort of effete, gothic electropop that Position Parallele make. It’s hard to tell if the duo’s deadpan is supposed to be funny or not, but it’s pretty hard not to pull some angular, jerky dance moves when listening to their New Order-ish tunes.
With his Newspaper Blackout pieces, writer and artist Austin Kleon uses a marker to black out all but a few select words printed in the New York Times, carving out little poems from the articles of the newspaper.
Mexican graphic designer, Sarahi Calderon Marquez, makes you see that not all monsters are bad with her magnificent illustrations of the lovely creatures. Read more

If ever there was an opinion needed on the current Hip Hop scene, this is the one everyone should look to. Plus, whose voice better to hear it in than that of Ghostface, Na’mean? I can read this blog for hours with a smile on my face.
Oh, ok. The Church’s eerily translucent Under The Milky Way has just burst into my headphones like a thousand jolts of sweet pop lightening. It’s nice to know that wistful introspection is only ever but three chords and a melancholic chorus away.
