Think you saw it all on the Australian Fashion Week runways? Then think again. Only our crazy city could invent and get away with a duck fashion show. Feathery friends parading flamboyant frocks in true red carpet fashion at the annual Pied Piper Duck Fashion Show; a highlight of the Royal Easter Show. There’s even a video. Now, I don’t know whether to call the RSPCA or be vexed that these amazing animal couture pieces aren’t available for humans.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
