My art is a combination of traditional techniques, like pencil and watercolor, with digital retouching and coloring. It is an exploration of vivid, rich color, and the detail and textures of nature and technology, the jarring of the analogue against the digital, along with the new spectrums, emotions and realities created from this unique relationship.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
