With digital art getting a lot of attention these days, it’s easy to forget the beauty of more traditional mediums. UK-based artist, Andrea Joseph, takes us back to that place with her wonderfully whimsical hand-drawings. Using nothing more than pencils and pen, she creates incredibly detailed illustrations of everything from Converse shoes to clothes in a washing machine. Read more

Jaimie Zollars probably paints some of the most ridiculously detailed children’s books I’ve ever seen. Yet, somehow she manages to give it all a the same perfect, slightly creepy atmosphere that draws you in without overwhelming you. The Slidy Diner is my favorite. Read more
Who wouldn’t want one of these to escape the urban bustle on? Camper Bike is a functioning sculptural piece by artist Kevin Cyr which was built in April 2008 and has since become the subject of a series of his paintings. Read more
Ten Masked Men are a British parody band that does death metal covers of famous pop songs by Ricky Martin, Christina Aguilera, Madonna, and many others. One of my favorites is their cover of Justin Timberlake’s ‘Cry Me a River’. It’s epic.
Dubbed as a ‘lifestyle project’ drawing influences from Californian street culture, the store recently opened by LA-based The Hundreds in San Francisco has, hands down, the coolest fit-out I’ve ever seen. Read more

Italian brand Brionvega has resurrected the classy Radiofonografio piece first created in 1965. The updated version is just like the original turntable/radio unit, but also has a CD/DVD player.
The Illuminated Sea Cookie Pin by Stephanie Simek mixes underwater wonders and light to add a little sparkle to your wardrobe. The sea cookie, a member of the sand dollar family, is back lit by a white LED. When turned on, the light illuminates all of the creature’s natural patterns and intricacies. Read more
