Spoiler ahead: owls behaving wickedly. This owl, as seen on a Japanese variety show, knows at least two ways to scare off other beaky threats: puff and fluff up (cute) or supershrink into what looks like a cross between Lord Voldemort and Megatron. It’s a hoot. According to another YouTube user who uploaded another clip of similarly, er, talented owls, this particular owl species might be Florida Eastern Screech Owls. Bird experts, anyone?

Well, close enough. So the vial really contains the regurgitated remains (read: small animal bones) of an owl’s meal. Sounds like owl vomit to us. Designer Trixie Khong has crafted this series of handmade vial necklaces under her By Invite Only label, made possible thanks to her connections to a friend who owns an extremely helpful pet owl. No animals were apparently harmed in the making of these statement pieces.
