The new jewelry line from October Anniversary features environmentally friendly and delicate pieces of art. The founders, Alexandra and Olga, established the company in February, 2008. Each ring they create can be found in silver or gold, in shapes from an elephant, to flowers, to a key pendant hung from a silk thread. The metal October Anniversary uses is recycled, and ten percent of all profits goes to the Happy Hearts Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to education, healthcare, and culture specific programs around the world.
The work of New York-based photographer Manolo Campion draws from a broad spectrum of experiences, including formal training in photography from the Pasadena Art Center in California, and time spent living and working in London. Read more

He’s the king of the mash-up, a dance floor master, and the humblest guy you’ll meet. If you haven’t heard of him (unlikely), then go to his website right now and download his free mixes. He deejayed a show for us in 2000, right when his breakout CD, Uneasy Listening, dropped and I was floored. Who has the audacity to mix a Pat Benatar beat with Public Enemy vocals? This guy.
