Amazing illustrated maps of major cities

Owen Gatley, an illustrator based in Berlin, has made some wonderful maps of London, Paris and New York. Using symbols to show where major landmarks such as London’s Big Ben and New York’s Statue of Liberty are, Gatley has created a unique view of the famous cities. The maps were featured in the Luck issue of Ideas Illustrated. We wonder if anyone’s used them to get around the cities?

After being a part of Newcastle four piece The Karma Cops, Jess Moxey and Stef Threadgate finally realised their dream of being a two piece and formed Hey Lady! After only months on the scene, the two rocking ladies have self-released a four track EP. Being only vocals, guitar, and drums it would be expected that the sound wouldn’t be that big but the girls have defied the odds. Incorporating layered vocals, glockenspiel samples, and a pretty unique guitar style, the EP has a really prominent low end.
