This charming little masterpiece is written and directed by the Finish mastermind, Aki Kaurismäki, and contains no exploding cars or silicon breasts, but instead a story about a African boy who ends up abandonned and alone in a French small town, Le Havre, where he makes friends with an ageing shoe shiner.
