It was abruptly closed after 4 days. Reportedly the gallery staff were &#8220;not able to cope with the frantic means of emotional release that the exhibition became &#8230; pandemonium broke out&#8221; reported the Times in 1971. These amazing photographs capture the original installation. The Tate recreated this <a href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/artanddesign/gallery/2009/apr/06/tate-robert-morris-bodyspacemotionthings#/?picture=347767219&amp;index=0" target="_blank">exhibition</a> in 2009 using contemporary materials and called it &#8220;Bodyspacemotionthings&#8221;. <span id="more-97862"></span></p>
